This May Day event "An Emancipation Celebration" is the largest program of its kind in Northwest Florida . Activities to include: live entertainment, softball tournament, talent contest, a step competition, movie night, VOTER REGISTRATION, gospel & choir concerts, food vendors, arts & crafts, business exhibits, kiddie rides and activities. The program is scheduled to run from 10:00 A.M. until 10:00 P.M. bring your lawn chairs and stay all day.

Submission Deadline APRIL 21, 2008
The artist performance and promotions package arranged is setup to include:
Performance-- up to 15 minutes (clean lyrics for a family, all-ages audience, late afternoon show)
Vending-- location to set up your table and tent for meet and greet, merchandise sales all day
Accomodations-- 1 hotel room (double occupancy) for 1 night stay (Friday check-in since the festival is on Saturday and you can check-in after 3 or 4 p.m. in most hotels). **Additional rooms optional at additional cost and subject to availablity (others may have to stay at a different hotel)
Promotions-- name on local flyers annoucements distributed by May Day event organizers, inclusion in press materials to local media, Bama Hip Hop promotions
Conditional: performance at Pre-May Day Party (Friday) or After Party (Saturday) not yet confirmed but we are working on a performance slot for these parties
Sponsorship Budget: $300
